Reimagine Rockdale: Clean, Safe, Affordable

The fact that I immigrated to Rockdale over 20 years ago and became a naturalized citizen of the United States gives me a heightened awareness of the opportunities in our county.  I have experienced them firsthand and am thankful for each one.  Rockdale is well suited to handle its diversity and recognize its growth potential.  My strong work ethic and hard work experience give me a unique perspective - with kindness and vision, I know this county and its citizens can experience and enjoy great success.

True, I have not held an elected public office before.  However, I have held many positions of public trust through my volunteer work with civic and non-profit organizations.  Through this work, I have met, observed, and learned how to inspire the citizens of Rockdale.  As Chairman, I will continue helping our citizens accomplish goals and implement plans putting their interests above my own.  

Employee training and retention are an ongoing challenge for our commissioners.  To the detriment of our county and its citizens, there has been significant turnover among the most senior people in our local government.  Personality clashes and mismanagement spark early departure or retirement - taking essential institutional knowledge with it.    I will work to build and sustain the relationships necessary to operate at the highest level of experience.
